David has also served as webmaster for High Tech Dems, 24th AD Committee, and Tri-Valley Democratic Club, as well as several non-political groups. David has been a member of the State Central Committee for 9 years and is currently chair of the 24th Assembly District Committee. In 2005, he received the CDP Region 5 Director's Award for his work to build an online communications network for the Santa Clara County Democratic Party. David's dedication to providing data tools and technical support to grassroots activists has established crucial multi-county contacts for the Governing Board of the Grassroots Champions Coalition. Bruce Daniels' contributions to user-friendly software technology over the last 35 years since his graduate work in computer science at MIT have earned his reputation in personal computing history. His career includes CEO, architect, designer, and manager of international projects, tools, and systems for various software giants and his own firm. In his political work, Bruce has overseen the Central Coast Democratic Precinct Captains Program through three election cycles as the manager of its IT system. He is President of the Soquel Creek Water District (the first voter-elected Democrat) and twice Governor-appointed and Senate-confirmed Member of the state's Regional Water Quality Control Board. He is a member of the California Democratic Party State Central Committee, the Santa Cruz County Democratic Central Committee, and an award-winning volunteer who has served as campaign manager, treasurer, PAC and non-profit board member for numerous environmental and progressive causes and candidates. Jake Edmondson currently wears three hats in service to the Democratic party: as Director of Administration on the E-Board of the San Diego County Central Committee; as Vice President of San Diego's North County Democratic Unity Coalition, an association of 10 chartered clubs; and as founding board member of the Computer-Internet Caucus of the CDP, where he stepped down in 2005 after two years as Chair. Previously, Jake managed Connie Witt's candidacy for the 75th AD in 2002, guiding her campaign to the strongest showing by a Democrat for that Assembly seat in ten years. Prior to that, he served two terms as president of the Escondido Democratic Club. To make ends meet, Jake creates interactive computer-aided education and training programs for an impressive list of clients including Qualcomm, Mayo Clinic, McGraw-Hill, Time-Life, Warner, Toshiba, AT&T, and 3M. Barbara Graves, who founded and still serves as Coordinator of the Democratic Precinct Captains Club on California's central coast, has developed a simple yet effective model for a statewide precinct captains program and has assembled a training team for her own and other counties. She is serving her third term as Secretary of the Environmental Caucus of the California Democratic Party, elected member of the CDP Executive Board, union-appointed CAP delegate from the UAW/NWU, and a member of the CDP Resolutions Committee appointed by Chairman Art Torres. In 2005, she was elected CDP Region 9 Director. She has received numerous awards and honors for her volunteer work with schools, campaigns, environmental and other progressive causes. For the last decade Barbara has successfully run two non-profit agencies, but her professional career has always been in the areas of training, technical writing and publishing.
